The system will show it still connected and might even show the root of the drive with a list of folders but trying to access anything in one of those folders It wants me to select a file so I've tried selecting every *.efi file on the USB and continue to only get a "no bootable device found" error. Glad to hear that replacing the Dell card with the Intel unit while using the latest BIOS has helped. No need for response. I was happy until this week when the SAME @#$$!! Dell logo + black screen.
Here's to hoping a solution for affected systems is close at hand, because these hiccups aside, Dell's USB-C lineup is tough to beat. The battery may not charge. Especially when the computer would go to sleep, it wouldn't work.Rebooting seems to work most of the time to get the ports working properly.Again, nothing specific I can point to. For very tech-savvy individuals, this probably isn't a problem; however, personally, I prefer the simplicity of the DVD drive.
