Yoga 2 Pro Wifi Connection
On the Yoga 2 Pro support and downloads page on lenovo's site they have a driver for Win 10 and it has totally fixed the problem. I'm wondering if I buy the 6200/6300 WiFi card if the Yoga 3 pro BIOS will allow it and if it is even compatible? Once reconnected, 2.4Ghz worked like a champ. i think it might be best for me to hold out on moving to windows 10 for awhile--maybe i'll learn that they've resolved the issue! I powered down my laptop, disconnected the battery remove the old wireless card connected the new wireless card reconnected the battery powered on the laptop and immediately it said in unauthorized Please visit the Lenovo support site and install the latest version of drive for your system. I think this issue has started after I updated to windows 10 and rolled back to 8.1.The screen flicks for maybe a couple minutes or until I restart the laptop and Lenovo should change this wireless-modul but it's completly unacceptable that they present fixes a an placebo to calm there customers. It worked for two weeks but now it is saying its got limited connectivity and cannot connect (although four other devices manage to connect OK). There's no official reason that I've discovered on forums that are causing this to happen which is a big bummer.
I am going to stick with only those suppliers that specifically have confirmation feedback on compatibility with the Yoga Pro 2 (Although I have seen a couple on Amazon that seems embedded in the bios only or is there or can end uses peruse a disclosed list supported per a certain bios? no support whatsoever. The one I installed is working without a hitch, though, I haven't installed any BIOS updates in a while. If you're on Win 10 it's been pretty good at updating the necessary drivers. Haven't noticed any issues that others reported, I think because it must have been a newer build. It's a good idea to follow this article to always be up-to-date. navigate here I tried downloading the latest Intel Graphic driver 4300 and that fixed the problem, a least after a good hour of work on battery.
