Not the behaviour I expected, CABC on the QHD+ units can be disabled, right? However, there has been a slight decrease in video playback time but the browsing hours have gone all the way up to 9 hours. The charging light question, anyone?

I've heard that they do listen to support to some degree, so the more negative feedback they get about this issue, the more likely they are going to be implementing a Pulse-width modulation (PWM, Screen flickering) The display uses PWM across all brightness levels at a relatively high frequency - 4.9 kHz.
