Disabling hibernation fixes it. I appear to be having the problem with windows 10 that prevents windows from staying asleep. IMHO this is a device driver bug because nothing on my network is doing anything that should be forcing a wake from low power state... Dell Xps Will Not Shut Down I turn off my PC completely.

Network Connections -> Right-click on your current network -> Properties -> Networking (tab) -> Configure... -> Power Management (tab) -> Make sure the checkbox for "Allow this device to wake the Dell Xps 13 Won't Turn Off If there is a latest version available on our Dell support site, request you to update to the same. You should first do this: To make hibernation unavailable, follow these steps: Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box. The event viewer showed the wake reason as "unknown." Shutting down did the same exact thing. Dell Xps 13 Restarts On Shutdown Event viewer shows an unknown wake up cause. The moment it turns off it restarts.
One thing that I thought of is that by default the computer would try to hibernate 3 hours after in standby.

For me, the solution was simply disabling hibernation all together. No reposts, spam or rehosted content. For disabling fastboot under the power options to work, you have to make sure it is ENABLED in the bios. I upgrade the BIOS from 1.2.3 to 1.3.3... No offensive, hateful, or low-effort comments. I discovered this after my laptop was in a closed bag and was on and warm and almost dead.
I've already disabled in powercfg all timers ability to wake the pc; yet it continues. Search around for it. Out of the box quite a few bugs, but I expected that with the Signature Edition from Microsoft.
