For disabling fastboot under the power options to work, you have to make sure it is ENABLED in the bios. This also makes the hiberfil.sys file to be much smaller than what hibernate would use (often 4GB or more). The computer was delivered with W8. I noticed in powercfg /batteryreport that it did turn on at the 3 hour mark, but it never shut off afterwards. If it was mine I'd always have a worry that it would switch on in the bag and overheat.
Hasn't woken up unexpectedly from hibernation yet. In properties for that device, the box that says ''allow this device to wake up the computer'', wasn't ticked so that device can't be the issue.
