ConclusionI can't in my good conscience recommend this laptop because of the coil whine, buzzing and spacebar squeak. The oddball is my 9550. I'm sure there was little improvement but problem has not been remedied completely... The driver I am using at the moment is the one from Dell's website, it was installed early this month. Apparently, when you uninstall the drivers the buzzing goes away. It doesn't happen all the time but it happens intermittently. I am starting to believe that this is an issue with either the nvidia driver, or bumblebee/optimus.

Tijo, thanks for doing a test on your own. When I play an mp3 from the headphone jack to my speaker system, the sound is very blah. Had to put the video at 720p to make sure sound quality was ok though. However, after the next reboot speakers are not working again.
