Yahoo Mail And MTU Problem

Your MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) should be 1500, your MSS (Maximum Segment Size) should be someting less, such as 1460(or your 1452). If you set this parameter to 0, an MTU of 576 bytes is used for all connections that are not to computers on the local subnet. However, when I take the D-Link out of the mix (connect the PC directly to the DSL modem) everything works as it should. WinXP sets the MTU based on the current performance of the stream. Any ideas? Hack attempt on my PC [Security] by Bryantf1982361.
