Step 5: Remove the single philips screw holding the wireless card in place. I was hoping that this may be an option. Everything else works fine on that left small circuit board (USB, headphone jack, volume, tilt lock).

My network connections folder is also empty of any icons. Other versions of the 7260NGW exist, but I don't know if they'll work, so I went with the one with the printed FCC ID that others claimed hard worked for them. You can download them using another PC and then transfer them to your Yoga 2 Pro using a USB stick. (Or simply plug in to ethernet, if that still works.) I'm running 14.04 Beta 2, maybe that's it? Bought the card and bit driver kit on Amazon, and easily upgraded my wife's Yoga2 so that it connects to Apple WiFi router on AC. I'm connected at 300mbs and with my new Xfinity service I'm getting 138mbs down, up from averaging 14-24mbs previously (also upgraded the modem). And they get to set whatever prices they want.
